The lock body is one of the components of the lock. It is generally used on anti-theft doors and is responsible for the basic anti-theft work of anti-theft doors. The lock body is responsible for opening and locking doors and windows, and plays an important role in anti-theft. It is mainly used in non-entry door environments such as room doors and offices. It can also be used in conjunction with the smart access control system. The smart door lock has both the functions of a mechanical door lock and a smart lock, which is convenient and safe.

View More1. Control of machining accuracy indicators
Position accuracy: The position requirements for verticality and horizontality in the lock body are very high. The position deviation of the lock core should be controlled within ±0.05mm to ensure that the lock core can be correctly inserted and rotated smoothly.
Dimensional accuracy: Accurately control the dimensional parameters such as the outer diameter, inner diameter and length of the lock core and its spare parts. The dimensional deviation should generally be controlled within ±0.01mm to ensure the service life and performance of the lock.
Surface roughness: The surface of the lock core should have good finish and gloss after machining. It is usually evaluated by Ra value. Ra value should be controlled between 0.1-0.4um to reduce the impact on the torsional force and opening effect of the lock core.
Roundness and straightness: The axis of the lock core should maintain a complete circle and straight line. The roundness and straightness deviation should be controlled within 0.005mm to prevent the lock core from not working properly due to non-roundness or bending.
2. Processing equipment and technology
Advanced equipment: Use high-precision and high-stability processing equipment, such as CNC machine tools, to ensure stability and accuracy during the processing.
Optimize technology: Reduce processing errors and improve processing accuracy by continuously optimizing the processing process. For example, cold stamping technology is used to make steel laminations to improve the firmness and processing efficiency of the lock core.
3. Quality management system
Comply with international standards: The processing accuracy standard of the lock core should at least meet the international standard ISO9001-2008 certification to ensure the accuracy and stability of the product.
Strict testing: During the processing and before the finished product leaves the factory, strict quality testing is carried out, including dimensional measurement, surface roughness testing, roundness and straightness testing, etc., to ensure that each lock core meets the accuracy requirements.
4. Customized processing standards
Develop standards based on product characteristics: According to the different characteristics of each lock, formulate corresponding processing standards to ensure the perfect match between the lock core and the lock body and the improvement of overall performance.
5. Tooth table and level difference control
Tooth table management: Use tooth table to manage the tooth shape and level difference of lock core, and ensure the uniqueness of each lock core through complex tooth number and level difference design to avoid duplication.
Production precision control: Strictly control the precision of production process to ensure that the number of teeth in actual production process is consistent with theoretical design, and reduce duplication and error.
The mortise lock body is mainly composed of the following key components:
Lock core: The mortise lock core is the core part of the lock body, usually composed of mortise, spring and lock handle (or drive plate). The mortise contains a series of independent keyholes, each keyhole corresponds to a set of teeth on the key.
Lock body: The lock body is the outer shell of the mechanical lock, which is used to protect the lock core and provide the function of fixing it on the door. The lock body contains key components such as drive plate and latch.
Key: The key is a tool for operating the lock core, and its tooth shape matches the mortise or drive pin inside the lock core.
Locking function:
When the key is correctly inserted into the lock cylinder, the teeth of the key will match the mortise or drive pin inside the lock cylinder.
The rotation of the key will push the spring or drive pin on the drive plate to move, thereby controlling the movement of the bolt.
The bolt is a key component of the lock body. Its movement will cause one end of the bolt to be embedded in the pin hole on the door frame, thereby fixing the position of the door and realizing the locking function.
Opening function:
To open the lock, you first need to insert the correct key.
The rotation of the key will push the spring or drive pin on the drive plate in the opposite direction, causing the bolt to withdraw from the pin hole on the door frame.
When the bolt is completely withdrawn, the door can be opened freely.
When implementing these functions, the mortise lock body factory usually follows the following process:
Design: Design the structure of the lock cylinder, lock body and key according to the purpose and safety requirements of the lock. Determine the keyhole arrangement of the mortise, the number and position of the springs, the shape and size of the bolt, etc.
Material selection: Use high-quality metal materials (such as copper, stainless steel, etc.) to manufacture key components such as lock cylinders, lock bodies and latches to ensure the durability and safety of locks.
Processing and manufacturing: Through precision machining and surface treatment processes (such as electroplating, spraying, etc.), manufacture components such as lock cylinders, lock bodies and keys. Ensure that the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of each component meet the design requirements.
Assembly and debugging: Assemble the processed components, debug and test them. Ensure that the rotation of the lock cylinder is smooth, the movement of the latch is accurate and reliable, and the insertion and rotation of the key are unobstructed.
Quality inspection: Conduct quality inspection on finished locks, including appearance inspection, functional testing and safety performance testing. Ensure that the quality and performance of the locks meet relevant standards and customer requirements.
Packaging and delivery: Pack qualified locks and attach documents such as instructions for use and warranty cards. Then ship according to customer requirements.
